Aortic aneurysm repair is done through open surgical or endovascular methods to avoid rupture and enhance patient outcome. Minimally invasive endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) is now an accepted modality for most patients because of less trauma and quicker recovery. Preoperative imaging, patient selection, and monitoring after the operation are important for optimal results. Graft technology, stent design, and operative planning advancements have improved safety, durability, and long-term outcome in aneurysm treatment.
